Shipping

Meredithbead jewelry ships to the United States, U.S. territories, and APO. Unfortunately I no longer ship to other areas due to frequently changing rules and taxes,

All orders are shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service) Ground Advantage) for $6 per package. Packaging will be a goldenrod bubble envelope. 95% of orders are shipped within 48 hours, often less. I'll email you if there's a delay.

Guarantee

My jewelry carries a lifetime guarantee on labor and normal wear-and-tear. That means — if an ear wire breaks, or a cord frays 5 years from now — if you care enough to mail it back to me, I care enough to make it right. You're responsible for postage on items which you've worn for a while, but I'll pay for the return.

Returns

if you receive anything in imperfect condition, please send me a picture within 7 days of receipt and I'll email a prepaid mailing label.

If this was a gift, I'll email a prepaid label for return if the giftee doesn't like it.
Same if you bought it for yourself, and for whatever reason, it doesn't work for you.

You are responsible for reading product descriptions and taking measurements as needed.

For all of the above, you need to mail the jewelry back within 2 weeks of getting the label. Please pack securely with adequate padding (bubble wrap, paper towels etc.). Labels I send are specifically for USPS, not UPS. Do not send in large or heavy boxes because the postage is by weight. I never accept C.O.D.

Exceptions to the above return policy:

I do not accept returns on post-season items (such as trying to return Christmas items after December 25).

On made-from-scratch special orders, I may or may not accept returns --- please ask before purchasing.

If you're a serial returner, it's "three strikes, you're out." If it's obvious that the jewelry has been worn (and yes, I can tell) you'll incur a large restocking fee. This is not a rental shop.

Sorry if the above paragraph seems harsh. It's for the 1% of entitled scammers who plague online sales. The rest of you --- the 99% who are my real customers --- are absolutely fantastic.
